Cookie policy
Last updated:
In plain English: This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner — the law (PECR) only requires consent for cookies that need it, and we don’t use any. If we ever add one that does, a consent prompt will appear before it is set, not after.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. The same rules cover similar technologies — local storage, pixels, embedded third-party widgets. UK rules come from the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, alongside the UK GDPR.
2. What this site uses
tesylate.com is a static site with no analytics and no advertising.
| Category | Used? | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | None set by the site | Anything essential to serve the site securely would be exempt from consent under PECR. |
| Analytics / statistics | No | None. No Google Analytics, no first-party analytics. |
| Advertising / tracking | No | None. |
| Third-party embeds | No | Demo booking links out to Calendly rather than embedding it, so Calendly sets no cookies on this site. Cookies on calendly.com are Calendly’s own — see Calendly’s cookie notice. |
The contact form posts to Tesylate’s own system and sets no third-party cookies.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
PECR requires consent before setting cookies unless an exemption applies (strictly necessary; and, since 5 February 2026, narrow exemptions for first-party statistics and appearance preferences with an opt-out). A banner is only needed where consent is needed. We set no cookies that require consent, so a banner would be noise. We would rather show you nothing than a pop-up we don’t need.
If we later add anything that needs consent — for example an embedded Calendly widget or a video player — we will ask first, and “reject” will be as easy as “accept”.
4. Managing cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies may break sites that genuinely need them; it will not break this one.
